Automatic Bin

I don't know why, but for some reason I always struggle with my kitchen waste bin - it's not big enough for a start and I seem to be constantly changing the bag ... speaking of the bin bag, that's a complete nightmare in itself ... and why does it always split and throw bin juice all over the floor when I go to change it?

Another real practical problem is having to juggle all the waste while I try and open the bin. Yes, I've tried pedal bins before, but they just seem to always break! I'm not that heavy footed or anything, they just always seem to be badly designed and flimsy!

Yet I still struggle on with the same type of bin - WHY DON"T I JUST BUY A BIN THAT WORKS? Aaargh!! What I need is some type of miracle auto bin with a decent capacity and some sort of space age technology to sort the bag out...

Well, I've finally found the answer (and calmed down a bit) and found the miracle auto bin I was looking for! It's an Automatic Sensor Waste Bin to be precise and is ... well.... great!

I was a bit skeptical at first - I mean, is this 'magic auto bin thingamyjig' really worth the extra few quid? ... and what if this technical wizardry crashes, like my computer, just as I'm trying to throw some left over curry away?

I can tell you I was pleasantly surprised and will NEVER buy a non auto bin again. It's just not worth the hassle.

So, how does the auto bin work exactly?

It uses an infra red sensor on the top of the auto bin that senses movement up to about 15 cm away from it and opens the bin lid automagically. The lid will then close automagically when you move away from it. This eliminates the need for washing your hands after use and helps keep your kitchen free from germs. It will also prevent you from throwing food all over the bin lid and will reduce the need for cleaning.

Works wirelessly, meaning that you need batteries, but don't worry, battery life for the auto bin is very long (should be approx. 6months for most models, based on 20 opens a day). This also means that it's wireless with no trailing wires around anywhere to trip you up and throw your dinner all over the floor.

The auto bin contains a bin bag holder to sort that annoying bin bag out. YEEESSSS!! It's so space age!!

So, I've gone on enough about how great these things are. Buy one for yourself, buy one for your mum and dad, buy one for your next door neighbours and friends - just make sure you buy an auto bin of some kind. Once you go auto, you never go ... well ..  non-auto.
